Gamecock Emergency Medical Students hosts helicopter landing, lecture with flight paramedic

Gamecock Emergency Medical Students hosted a helicopter landing and emergency-medicine lecture at Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center on Friday. Students learned about pediatric trauma, explored the inside of the helicopter, and spoke with flight medics and nurses from Air Methods.
