Raja Fayad, the 45-year-old USC professor killed in Thursday's murder-suicide, appears to have had a history with the other deceased individual, according to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts' autopsy report.
Fayad was found dead in an office on the fourth floor of the Arnold Public Health Research Center after he suffered "complications of multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body," Watts said.
The second individual's identity has not yet been released, but more information will come once the coroner's office notifies the individual's family. The investigation is ongoing.
