USC placed the Xi chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha under suspension Thursday, as the investigation regarding the death of one of the members is ongoing.
The university is acting in accordance with the international fraternity, which placed the Xi chapter under administrative suspension Wednesday after first-year business student Charles Terreni, Jr. was found dead in a Lee Street residence.
According to Chief Communications Officer Wes Hickman, USC suspended the chapter "pending the outcome of a review of their activities and the findings of the Columbia Police Department."
