Gov. Nikki Haley, U.S. Sen. Tim Scott and coach Dawn Staley will deliver this year's commencement addresses May 8 and 9.
Haley will deliver her address Friday, May 8 at 3 p.m. to students from the Darla Moore School of Business, College of Mass Communications and Information Studies, College of Nursing, South Carolina College of Pharmacy and the Arnold School of Public Health in the Colonial Life Arena.
Haley will receive an honorary degree of doctor of public service.
Scott will deliver the commencement address at 9:30 a.m. on May 9 to South Carolina Honors College graduates, as well as graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences. Scott will also receive an honorary degree of doctor of public service.
And at 3 p.m. May 9, Staley will address students graduating from the College of Education; the College of Engineering and Computing; the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management; the Fort Jackson Military Base Program; Interdisciplinary Programs; Palmetto College; the School of Music; and the College of Social Work.
