Letter to the Editor: Christianity a religion of love

This letter is a response to the column "A Christian case for same-sex marriage", which ran September 10, 2015.

Thank you for having the courage to fight the status quo in your column.

The most prevalent form of Christianity in America is a grotesquely misshapen form of what it was intended to be, a religion of love and social cooperation. Although modern organized religion often promotes the blind following of archaic texts and their perverse interpretations by 'leaders,' you clearly have an accurate understanding of the Bible and are using your faith how everyone should: making the world a better place.

Keep up the good work.
