USC student portal my.sc.edu posted a new feature this week to the registration tab: A schedule planner. This new feature allows students to add desired courses and breaks to a list that then generates schedule options.
This comes about three months after MyEdu — a website that assists college students in marketing themselves and planning their schedule — announced it was dropping USC from its scheduling service.
Back in April, students were upset over MyEdu's announcement that they would no longer provide their scheduling service to USC. The website provided some students with much-needed assistance when planning for their upcoming semester, and the loss of that feature left many frustrated in planning for the fall. USC has provided what appears to be an adequate alternative.
The schedule planner feature is currently available for use on classes being offered in Summer and Fall 2016.
