Famously Hot S.C. Pride kicked off Saturday despite Friday's inclement weather.
The parade made its way through downtown Columbia in a celebration of the city's LGBTQ community. The festivities will continue throughout the day with musical performances and vendors along Main Street, and everything will be capped off with an after party at Music Farm.
Set up had to be delayed Friday due to the effects of Tropical Storm Hermine, but Saturday's schedule wasn't affected.
