The SEC released its conference schedule for men's basketball for 2016-17, unveiling each team's 18-game slate.
The Gamecocks will open the season with a road matchup against Georgia on Jan. 4, which will be broadcast on ESPNU. The Bulldogs are one of the three permanent home-and-home opponents for South Carolina, joined by Tennessee and Mississippi State.
Frank Martin's squad will also play Florida and Ole Miss as rotating home-and-home opponents. The Gamecocks will play every other team just once in league play.
The team will play NCAA Tournament participant Texas A&M as its first home conference game on Jan. 7. Other games against NCAA Tournament participants come away from Columbia, against Kentucky on Jan. 21 and Vanderbilt on Feb. 18.
