On the heels of a multi-million dollar grant from the National Science Foundation, USC has also been named an NSF Innovation Corp site. The initiative, the first of its kind in South Carolina, is geared toward connecting researchers with entrepreneurs and investors.
According to the school, it includes a $500,000 grant from the NSF to "stimulate" students' work.
The leadership team for the project will include experts from the College of Engineering and Computing, the Darla Moore School of Business and the Office of Technology Commercialization.
