USC student Samantha Josephson went missing early Friday morning after getting into what the 21-year-old and her friends believed was an Uber.
Josephson's friend, Ashlynn Steele, said Josephson was in Five Points with a group of friends but left the bar Bird Dog alone around 2 a.m. According to a bouncer, Josephson got into a car to leave the bar, which friends believe she mistook for an Uber. Josephson's actual Uber driver allegedly cancelled the ride when she didn't show up at the pick-up point.
Josephson was last seen on the 700 block of Harden Street, wearing a bright orange shirt with black jeans and getting into a black Chevrolet Impala, the social media account Drinking Ticket tweeted Friday afternoon.
Jordyn Spenner, another friend, said Josephson's location was last tracked at Ott Road off Rosewood Drive, but Josephson has not been in contact with her friends all day. Law enforcement is aware of the case and investigating, Spenner said.
