Disclaimer: There are "Bachelor in Paradise" spoilers ahead.
Another Disclaimer: We are three college students with lots of opinions.
Don’t worry, Bachelor Nation. The final roses were given out, but it's just the beginning of many couples' journeys. Clay and Nicole did not receive any roses, but nobody is happier about this break up than us. After Nicole expressed her undying love, Clay got spooked and said he wasn’t there yet. Thankfully, Nicole made the right decision and ended their relationship because she knew that she deserved more.
The next couple to go down the beach was Chris and Katie. Chris went about everything in the literal worst way possible, saying he would decide “in the moment” if he should get engaged, then got engaged before ever saying the ‘L-word.’ Cut to the reunion, and they aren’t doing too hot. Katie hates her life; we have never seen someone cry so much while claiming to be happy and in love, and there was no ring in sight. Break up. That’s it.
Next was the only couple that all of Bachelor Nation was supporting, Dylan and Hannah. Luckily, they are one of the few couples Paradise worked for. We love you guys and will support you forever.
Finally, Demi and Kristian walked down the beach, and Demi decided she is ready to spend forever with Kristian and can’t see a future without her. At the reunion, Kristian popped the question, again, so now they each have an engagement ring and beautiful engagement story.
Three months after everyone left the beach, they all met up at the reunion, where old drama resurfaced and caused the exact same problems. Blake talked about Stagecoach, again. His and Caelynn’s drama had a new layer because of the text messages he posted. She got upset – cue author eye roll – and they all screamed about it for a while. Next, JPJ didn’t apologize to Chris, Krystal or Derek, upsetting one of us authors and making the other two laugh. Then, Jordan and Christian discussed the piñata situation, things got a little too heated and nothing was resolved. One bright side of the reunion was the news of JPJ and Tayshia rekindling their relationship. We are rooting for you guys.
For the last episode of "Paradise," we have an MVC and an LVC: a most valuable couple and a least valuable couple. Our MVC is Hannah and Dylan because they are the cutest and most stable couple to come out of "Paradise" and we couldn’t be happier for them. Our LVC is Chris and Katie because we think that Chris is a terrible person and Katie needs to get out of that relationship and find someone that truly values her.
Farewell, Bachelor Nation. "Paradise" might be over, but Pilot Pete’s season of "The Bachelor" is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to dish all the drama.
