USCPD's investigation into the Association of African American Students (AAAS) Zoombombing found it "not likely" that the individuals who hacked the event were members of the USC community.
"As a matter of fact, there is evidence indicating that the perpetrators were from a foreign country in Europe," President Bob Caslen said in a letter to AAAS on July 23. The letter was emailed to all students, faculty and staff on July 24.
Caslen said he will share more details of the case that are public knowledge soon.
