The updated COVID-19 dashboard reports a total of 33 active COVID-19 cases.
Of the total cases, 27 are student cases and six are employee cases. The number of cases increased since the 29 cases reported last Tuesday.
Between Nov. 7 and Nov. 13, USC conducted 7,529 tests, with a positive rate of .4% for students and .5% for faculty and staff.
Of the 7,529 tests, 6,517 were student tests and 1,012 were faculty and staff tests.
Since Aug. 1, there have been 1,613 positive COVID-19 cases.
Students and faculty can find their testing schedules and locations for this week on the university’s COVID-19 website. Testing will be done at the Carolina Coliseum at 701 Assembly St. Faculty, staff and graduate assistant testing will be done exclusively at 1311 Pendleton Street.
As of Nov. 13, it is estimated that the vaccination rate on campus is around 67.8% total between students, faculty and staff. The student vaccination rate is around 67.8%, faculty vaccination rate is around 75.7% and staff vaccination rate is around 63.6%.
The alert level is at 0.30 and is set between the “new normal” and “low” levels. The alert level is based on 11 factors, including campus testing, isolation capacity and campus case burden.
