The WNBA draft took place on April 14 and three Gamecocks entered the draft in hopes of being drafted and starting a professional basketball career.

By the end of the second round, all three Gamecocks that declared for the draft were selected.

Senior guard Te-Hina Paopao was selected pick 18 to the Atlanta Dream where she will back up former South Carolina guard Allisha Gray. Paopao ended her collegiate career for the Gamecocks as a NCAA Champion with a total of 1,738 points, 502 rebounds, and 524 assists.

Two picks later, senior guard Bree Hall was selected to the Indiana Fever at pick 20 where she will play alongside Caitlin Clark and reunite with her former Gamecock teammate Aliyah Boston. Hall ends her collegiate career for the Gamecocks as a two-time NCAA champion along with a total of 856 points, 342 rebounds and 105 assists.

The final pick was senior forward Sania Feagin at pick 21 to the Los Angeles Sparks. Feagin adds forward depth to the Los Angeles Sparks that selected forwards Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson last year.  Feagin was also a two-time NCAA champion for the Gamecocks and ends her collegiate career with a total of 758 points, 430 rebounds and 112 blocks.

Both Paopao and Feagin were invited to attend the draft while Hall was not. Only Feagin attended the WNBA draft in person. Paopao held a watch party with her family in Oceanside, California and Hall also held a watch party with her family in Dayton, Ohio.
