PHOTOS: Carolina Band marches through Columbia in preparation for Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade

The Carolina Band marched from Russell House to the South Carolina State House on Oct. 26, 2024 in preparation for their appearance next month in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Band supporters and members of the public followed the group down Greene and Sumter Street before gathering outside of the State House for a short performance. This is the first time in its 104 year history that the band will perform in the iconic Thanksgiving day event.
