The Gamecock baseball team defeated the Milwaukee Panthers, earning a 3-0 series and keeping its undefeated home streak. Friday afternoon marked the first meeting of the two schools, and South Carolina won in a 5-3 game with junior Brendan Sweeney finishing the game with a strikeout. South Carolina beat the Panthers 6-3 on Saturday with senior pitcher Matthew Becker recording eight strikeouts and not allowing a single walk. Finishing out the weekend with sweeping 14-4 win, the Gamecocks improved its record to an 8-0 following. This week, the Gamecocks will play at Founders Park on Feb. 25 against Gardner-Webb at 6:30 p.m.
