Upon walking through the doors of local thrift and antique shop Feathered Nest, you hear music reminiscent of the 1960s and 70's, while also seeing plethora of vintage items decades old filling up the shop. This creates an aesthetic reminiscent of your grandma’s closet.

For third-year services management student Wade Jefferson, mental health is a deeply personal cause. Having lost friends to suicide during college, Jefferson said he felt a responsibility to break down the barriers around mental health discussion, and saw starting a club as the perfect opportunity to do so. Things started out small, but thanks to its "SpeakYourMIND" ice bucket challenge, USC MIND has gained a massive following.

The weeks between spring break and final exams seem to be a repetitive cycle of long days, late nights and a seemingly never-ending list of assignments to complete. As students approach the last week of classes, they may be feeling the mental burden of exams, projects, papers, presentations and other assignments whose due dates have crept up rather abruptly. With the lurking possibility of crashing out, sometimes all anyone needs is a good way to wind down.
