Budget cuts, low-caliber students encourage USC to seek out-of-state talent
A suspicious package was reported on Greene Street outside Russell House at approximately 4:45 Tuesday evening. The area was roped off and university police investigated the scene. In less than an hour, the package, an unattended black suitcase, was determined not to be a safety threat and the owner was found, said USC spokeswoman Margaret Lamb.

The fourth season of Project Condom,the annual fashion show where designers must create outfits out of condoms, takes place in the Russell House ballroom tonight at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m., and seats usually fill quickly. Put on by Changing Carolina Peer Educators, Student Health Services, Campus Wellness and Carolina Productions, the event’s purpose is to promote safe, healthy sex practices. Summer Rayne Oakes, “the world’s first eco-model,” will be a special judge.
