In January, USC changed its logo from "UofSC" back to "USC," causing conversations throughout campus about the new look. The change was the second in four years for the university, which may mean that more change could be on the horizon in the future.
Infrastructure has changed in a multitude of ways over the last four years, including renovations to Russell House and LeConte College as well as the addition of the new Campus Village.
While the "Freshies" impressive run as Gamecocks has come to an end, the players will look to pass the torch to the next generation of South Carolina women's basketball stars. Despite these big shoes to fill, the young Gamecock players said they are ready to step up to the plate and carry on the legacy.
Currently, Carolina Core is overly broad and takes too much time away from students' major classes. Instead, it should focus more on niche-oriented classes that make it easier for students to check off requirements and graduate.
Going to USC has become more expensive, but it's still a worthwhile investment according to economists.
The Gamecocks suffered a season full of inconsistencies in the first season with Lamont Paris and potentially only season with GG Jackson. The team finished 11-21 overall, failing to qualify for postseason play.
