The Daily Gamecock talked with Raven Gadsden, a professor at USC and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, to discuss the impact she has had on her students and experiences in her career as someone who identifies with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Intersectionality is important when it comes to being an ally to the LBGTQIA+ community. Apply intersectionality to your life by having important conversations and taking action. 

South Carolina Black Pride is an organization that provides people of color in the LGBTQ+ community with a place to feel welcomed and liberated. 

USC doesn't have a pronoun policy, but many faculty, students and staff believe there should be. Julian Williams, the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, is trying to make it happen.
