4 Ways to use USC's Moving Image Research Collections

Director of the Moving Images Research Collections Daniella Curró, shares what she feels stands out among the collection and some of the highlights visitors can see. Some of this includes images of artifact excavation, historical footage of what life was like in the past and images of cultural icons.

The Continental Divide is an exhibit located at the Richland Library on Assembly, and Main St in Columbia, SC, and is pictured on Oct. 10, 2024. The Exhibit is open to the public from September 20, 2024, until November 8, 2024, featuring 30 photo prints that depict the land, wildlife, and people of the borderlands of the United States and Mexico, and the impact that the construction of a border wall is having on them.

Continental Divide: Richland Library's new art exhibit illuminates U.S.-Mexico border

The Richland Library is showcasing "Continental Divide: Wildlife, People and the Border Wall" on Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This exhibit will feature artwork from 13 photographers that traveled the U.S.-Mexico border, accompanied by a screening of Ay Mariposa and a discussion with a panel of faculty and curators of the exhibit. The event will discuss the ecological and cultural richness of the border.
