Letter to the Editor: Give Coach Darrin Horn a chance

Basketball team needs support In response to Greg Meuli’s editorial in Wednesday’s edition of The Daily Gamecock, how do people think Darrin Horn is a bad coach? This past season was only Horn’s third. His first season included 22 wins and a co-SEC East regular season championship, and he led USC to its first win over a No. 1 team in the program’s history. Meuli mentions that numerous players have been released by Horn. It wasn’t mentioned, however, that Chad Gray and Mike Holmes were also kicked off Coastal Carolina’s team after continuing their collegiate careers, and that only two of the seven players released were actually Horn’s.
