Fifty years ago, USC's first Black student body president, Harry Walker, was elected with over half the total votes. He made waves not only at USC, but nationally.
Last year, university staff started creating a staff senate in order to provide representation to the administration of a large part of USC's population. This spring, the staff senate is preparing for its first-ever election of senators.
