South Carolina football secondary shines with early season dominance
By Kyron Williams | Oct. 21The South Carolina Gamecocks’ secondary has emerged this season as a force, wrecking havoc on opposing offenses, and forcing turnovers, while maintaining tight pass coverage. They defensive unit has allowed 196.4 passing yards per game, which ranks fifth in the SEC and 36th in the nation. The Gamecocks have also caught 10 interceptions, which is tied for first in the SEC and tied fourth out of all FBS division 1 schools.
