The Gamecocks pulled away from the Tigers in the first half, preventing its opponent from scoring a touchdown. But coming out of half time, Missouri came back taking over the lead from South Carolina. The Gamecocks managed to steal its first win in six years against the Tigers in the final minute of the game.
Sixth-year linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. has been a key addition to the South Carolina football defensive line and continues to succeed in his first year in the SEC conference. Knight Jr. continues to lead the defensive line through its last section of games for the season.
