The South Carolina baseball and softball teams are entering their respective seasons with high expectations. After coming off one of the worst seasons in program history, the baseball team will strive to turn things around, while the softball team looks to maintain success after its trip to the NCAA Super Regional in 2025. With both coaches entering their second seasons at the helm, this year will showcase what the future may hold for these programs.
No. 13 South Carolina softball dropped three of its five games during the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic this past weekend. All three of its losses were to ranked opponents, and its overall record settles in at 9-5 on the season.
